Day 23 (10/11) - Calzadilla de la Cueza to Sahagun (23.7km)

Today we will pass the half-way mark in our Camino!! Of course, that means we still have another 3+ weeks of walking but it is still a nice feeling.

Breakfast in hostal and then headed out. Weather was cool and overcast, but a bit warmer than yesterday, and ideal walking weather. We stopped at two places for snack and refreshment and arrived at Sahagun around 2pm. We found a hostal near the plaza mayor (city square) with double room and bath -- 2 days in a row with private room so quite a treat and it even had a tub so we could soak our tired muscles.

Today's path was much like past few days.

Roman era bridge and nearby church.

With a glass of wine we got a free plate of grilled pig's ears in spicy sauce.

Dinner was pizza, plate of roasted peppers and nice bottle of wine.

Location:Sahagun, Spain
