We decided to forgo the breakfast in our casa rural since it started at 7:30 and we wanted to leave a bit earlier. We did not find any place to eat as we left town in the (almost) darkness so that might have been an error. We had bread (saved from last night's dinner) and a chocolate bar for "breakfast" along the path. There was a steep climb to a mesa top where we saw the sunrise and then a steeper descent on the other side. The gravel path was nice and quiet and we stopped for breakfast after about 10km and then continued on. After 20 .6km we reached Boadilla and stopped at Albergue En El Camino, mentioned by Jean, to have lunch and check it out. It was as nice as Jean had remembered so we decided to stay here. It is bunkbeds again but we arrived fairly early so shower, washing clothes, lunch, etc. was not too hectic. We will eat the communal meal her. The courtyard is very pretty and a wonderful place to lounge and visit with fellow pilgrims. We had a nice communal dinner and went to bed early.

Statue in courtyard. Note that pilgrim has removed shoe and examining his feet - something we do often!
